DIY Grapevine Witch Hat for Halloween

Anyone else keep missing out on these Vine Witch Hats from Terrain? By the time I start thinking about fall, they are usually sold out. Here’s how you can make your own grapevine witch hats!

Supplies Needed:

You will start by attaching the grapevine cone tree to the grapevine wreath. I found it easiest to loosen up the grapevine wreath first. You can either attach it with floral wire or zip ties. I used floral wire, but looking back, I think it would be easier with zip ties. The 12″ Grapevine Cone Tree fits the 8″ Grapevine Wreath and the 18″ Grapevine Cone Tree fits the 10″ Grapevine Wreath.

Next all you need to do is give them a good solid coat of paint with black spray paint.

After they have had time to dry I wrapped them with LED wire lights and used fishing wire to hang them so they look like they are floating. They also look great just sitting on a table or stack of books.

The easiest DIY I’ve done in a long time! I hope you give them a try!
